Built in 1891, the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum initially served as Ocean City Life-Saving Station. This historic building is one of the best attractions of Ocean City, attracting thousands of visitors every year. There are numerous exhibits in the museum that tell the history of Ocean City from a quaint fishing village to a large resort.
The Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum display exhibits like over 200 samples of sand from around the world, beach vacation artifacts, shipwreck finds, mermaids, and doll houses depicting local hotels and businesses etc. Other than these, it also displays exhibits on storms, sea life and life-saving in Ocean City.
